Aloha Pie Fans,

This is my first monthly newsletter, so please be patient with me! It is October 12, and the Holidays are right around the corner! We are baking around the clock, trying to get ahead of the game! Not that it is really possible! But at least we would like to think that we are prepared for the upcoming "Joyous Season" I hope that all of you are planning to share "Mac Pie" with your family and friends again this year! We guarantee that you once again will be the "Hero" of the Holidays! Our pies are so unique and well received that even the toughest name on your gift list, will be pleased! In other news, we are proceeding with our expansion plans, soon we will be baking our pies in a new state of the art factory and retailing them throughout the state.(and who knows where else!) This should all take place in the next twelve to twenty four months! Anyone got an extra million dollars laying around? I'll take a check! Our sales efforts go international for the first time in November. I'll be traveling to Japan to market the pies to a select group of business's. Wish me luck! My Japanese is BAD! Hai! Hopefully the pies will speak for themselves, as our Japanese customers have increased ten-fold over the last two years! By the way, how do you say Mac Pie in Japanese? That's right "MAC PAI" it must be a universal language. My grabber slogan is "Just say Mac Pie Kudesai!" Whadda ya think? We have added a few people to our staff over the last year, Chef Jeffery Mayo has got the handle on the bakery side of the operation. Jeff was trained through the West Hawaii Culinary Institute, and is a work-a-holic. We are lucky to have him. Noriko Becker has joined our sales force. She is from Nagoya Japan and has been instrumental in translating our print advertising as well as servicing our Japanese walk-in and phone customers. Another blessing from above! Well that is about all for now. We'll update you on our progress next month!
